How to Order

Details on how to order can be found here.

How do I send you my inclusions?

For breastmilk and cremation ashes keepsakes:

Once you have checked out and paid for your keepsake(s) I will post you out a pack which will contain capsules to send your inclusions to me which will be labelled with your order number. Please re-use the box they come in if it isn’t damaged. Please make sure that the correct postage is used to ensure it's safe arrival with me. I highly recommend using a tracked service for peace of mind.

For all other inclusions:

Once you have checked out and paid for your keepsake(s) I will send you the address of where to send your inclusions. It is best to pack them inside a zip lock bag or similar to ensure that they stay dry. Please make sure that the correct postage is used to ensure it's safe arrival with me. I highly recommend using a tracked service for peace of mind.

I will always let you know when your inclusions have arrived with me.

How much of my inclusions do I need to send?

I need 10ml of your Breastmilk. I am unable to return any milk that goes unused. I do however store unused breastmilk for 12 months.

Milk can be fresh or previously frozen for years. Breast Milk needs to be thawed to send if previously frozen. High lipase milk and colostrum is also fine to use for breast milk jewellery.

The amount for each other inclusions required per keepsake:

Hair – A good pinch approximately 4cm long, or enough shorter pieces to make up to this length.

Cremation ashes – 1 teaspoon

Umbilical cord – 1 stump

Any of the dried inclusions that are not used will be returned with your jewellery.

Will my milk go off in the post?

I'm sure it will be no surprise to you when I say that breastmilk is amazing! The properties inside breastmilk allow it to travel well. It is refrigerated as soon as it arrives with me and my aim is to begin the preservation process within 24 hours of receiving it.

How Long will my order take?

I will always keep my home page up to date with my turn around times.

Please be patient, your keepsake order is not just incredibly special to you, but to me too. I never rush an order, I like to put as much love as possible into every single piece and so my turn around times reflect this.

*Please note this is the approximate time to complete one item, multiple items may take longer*

Can you guarantee it's my inclusion?

In short, what reason would I have to lie? Pretty much everything you buy is based on trust, so all I ask is for you to trust me. I am very proud of my labelling and inventory system which means that I know exactly what belongs to who at all times and I promise you that you can trust me to create your precious keepsake for you with your inclusions.

How long will my keepsake last?

As long as the care instructions are carefully followed, then your keepsake will last for many, many years.

The main reason for discolouration or damage is due to pieces being left in direct sunlight or if it is worn in water.

I use a high quality, professional grade preservation powder which was tested for years before being used in breastmilk jewellery and so I feel confident that your breastmilk piece won't discolour. I know how upset you would be if discolouration was to happen - I promise you I would be just as upset, which is why I like to store unused breastmilk for a while as a back up in case this was to happen.

Your keepsake jewellery is made from epoxy resin which has a few care requirements which are as follows:

Please do not submerge your keepsake in water or shower with your jewellery on, resin is water resistant but not waterproof so water will damage your keepsake.

Please do not expose your keepsake to direct sunlight or UV light e.g sunbeds.

Please do not expose you keepsake to chemicals or perfumes and lotions.

Please do not expose your keepsake to high temperatures.

Please try to avoid hard knocks to your jewellery some pieces have a thin layer of resin and may chip if knocked.

To clean your jewellery please use a soft non abrasive cloth, silver polishing pads are fantastic for bringing out the shine on your sterling silver attachments but please do not use these on the resin part of your keepsake..

Will my keepsake look exactly the same as in your pictures?

While I work very hard to make your keepsake to your specifications, the natural, individual and uniqueness of your inclusions means that no two pieces will look the same. This is why I always open up a discussion with my customers after every order that is placed. I enjoy the design process and am always open to hearing your ideas and will do my very best in making them for you.
